My approach is grounded in somatic work and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with a focus on nervous system awareness, values alignment, and meaningful action. I help clients understand how stress and trauma show up in the body and how values misalignment can contribute to burnout, shutdown, or relational patterns. Therapy with me is collaborative, paced, and intentional, offering both compassion and gentle accountability as we work toward sustainable, embodied change.
I work with individuals and couples who are navigating stress, trauma, identity questions, and relational challenges while trying to stay functional and present in their lives. Many of my clients are queer individuals and couples, people in helping or high responsibility roles, and those seeking to reconnect with their values, their bodies, and their sense of belonging. Some are healing family of origin wounds, while others are building a chosen or found family that feels safer and more aligned with who they are today. I hold an inclusive view of family and honor both the families we are born into and the families we choose.
I offer therapy in both English and Spanish and provide Spanish speaking sessions, recognizing the importance of processing emotions, identity, and family dynamics in the language that feels most natural.
I hold an MA in Counseling Psychology and am currently a PsyD doctoral student in Counseling Psychology with advanced clinical training in trauma informed and relational care. As a Chicanx therapist and healer, my work is informed by lived experience, cultural awareness, and a belief that healing is not about fixing what is broken but about strengthening what has helped you survive. I welcome clients into therapy as a shared journey toward clarity, connection, and values driven living.
